The Della Wallet is a seriously under utilized pattern, in my opinion. It is a great first wallet pattern, perfect for the beginner who has made a couple bags, and looking for something a little more challenging. It requires very little material, but you may not have all the interfacing on hand. Today I’m walking you through the pattern and giving you a couple of my adjustments. I prefer to switch out some of the interfacing, lengthen the side tabs by just a bit, and change the pleated panel from one long strip of fabric to 2 shorter strips, so you can adjust the orientation of your pockets.

My Adjustments:
--- Use fusible fleece in place of the peltex for the Main Body Stabilizer.
--- Use rectangles instead of pattern pieces for the snap tabs. Fabric cut at 2 ⅝” x 3 ¼” . Stabilizer cut at 1 ⅝” x 2 ¼”
--- Use vinyl for Strip piece and 2 of the Snap Tab Rectangles.
--- Use exterior fabric for 2 of the Snap Tab Rectangles.
--- Instead of one Pleated Panel, cut 2 at 17.5” long by width indicated in the pattern. Cut the Featherweight interfacing using the same measurements.
