In this repair we will be working on an xbox one x that came in for no signal and black screen. The xbox one x console turns on but does not display anything on the screen. Replacing the damaged HDMI port did not solve the problem. We then replaced the HDMI Controller Chip known as the retimer ic and that fixed the problem. Let's see how we go about changing the retimer chip one the xbox one x game console
