Mr.Saeed Nawaz Babar , a Peshawar based philanthropist and businessman entered in the field of philanthropy after the death of his wife Begum Rashida, by the deadly cancer disease. During treatment of his ailing wife Mr Saeed Babar observed that how the common people respond to such a situation when a member of the family suffering from a chronic disease. He deeply shocked due to the miss treatment of poor cancer patients and his /her attendants in the hospitals. Mr Saeed mentioned that, the helpless people of this country cannot afford basic treatment of cancer. Sufferings and helplessness of the people was real source of inspiration for Mr. Saeed to respond as philanthropist. In order to help the helpless and vulnerable patients in a systematic manner he along with other family members and friends registered an organization under the title Rashida Zari Shah Welfare Society (RZSWS) . Since the establishment of the organization he actively provided help to hundreds of cancer patients. He is also deeply concerned for the extremely vulnerable orphan children in the province. Currently the organization is working for orphan children in only one district, but very soon the service will be extended to other districts of Khyber Pakhtoonkhawa province.
