The case of three children of an Indian school is being looked into by the Board of Directors of Indian Schools in Oman.

The children have been allegedly told to go home by authorities at an Indian school because their families could not afford to pay their school fees.

"We have many mechanisms to provide fee reduction programmes for school going students in the country if they are unable to afford the fees." - Senior official, Board of Directors

He added that no child in their education system will be compelled to stay at home because they are unable to pay the fees.
