.COM Domain Prices Skyrocketing 70%?? | ICANN Verisign Drama ICANN announced that they are considering lifting the price regulations for .COM domains, allowing Verisign, the company in charge of .COM domains, to raise the price 7% per year with little limitations. This will amount to a 70% price increase on domain names over the next decade, and that's not counting any increase domain registrars will tack on for profit.
