Why a 'K' CPU with an 'H' motherboard? Many people hear the letter K after an Intel CPU name and think you must want to overclock - but you can't unless you have a 'Z' motherboard. This presumption is common and will be reflected in the comments below this video. You see, many of these people won't read these notes or even watch the video before crying foul over the parts selection. Now, imagine you want to build a computer with no intention of overclocking, but you want the fastest thing for the money. Looking online, you notice the 'K' version of the CPU you were going to buy, is on sale and only $5 more! Would you pay $5 to go 10% faster? That's right! An Intel 'K' CPU is 10% faster than the non-K version of the same chip. Straight out of the box, plug and play. Or would you rather spend an extra $50 more to purchase a Z-based motherboard that has features you will never use because someone falsely told you a Z-based motherboard was required for a 'K' CPU to work....
