Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Monday urged Union Home Minister Amit Shah to restore law and order after incidents of violence in the national capital's Jaffrabad and Maujpur areas. "Very distressing news regarding disturbance of peace and harmony in parts of Delhi coming in. I sincerely urge Honorable LG and Union Home Minister (Amit Shah) to restore law and order n ensure that peace and harmony is maintained. Nobody should be allowed to orchestrate flagrations," Kejriwal tweeted.
Kejriwal's tweet comes after tension escalated in northeast Delhi as protesters torched at least two houses and a fire tender in Jaffrabad and Maujpur areas.
