2 Cards; 1 Product (Ink Blending & Gamsol Techniques)

Today I'm going to show you two different Sympathy cards I created using the Botanical Beauty Background stamp.

The first card I will be ink blending the background using Taylored Expressions Masking Stencils - Rectangles, TE premium ink and TE Blender Brushes. After I blend the background, I'll stamp the Botanical Beauty Background in Oreo hybrid ink and then remove the masking stencil for crisp borders around my design.

The second card I will stamp the same Botanical Beauty Background, but this time I'll be coloring it with colored pencils and gamsol. If you don't know a lot about gamsol, it's a spirit that is great for blending colors. (We sell gamsol kits at tayloredexpressions.com). Once the stamp is colored, I'll die-cut it using the coordinating Botanical Beauty Edger die. We will then layer that over a card base that has been ink blended with Brick on Brick stencil.

Both cards are finished with a sentiment from our Simple Strips - Sympathy set.
