Trump reacts to photograph of him with Lev Parnas: 'I take thousands of pictures'

Speaking to reporters in the Oval Office Thursday, U.S. President Donald Trump brushed off questions about a photograph of himself with Lev Parnas, the businessman who’s dealings with Trump’s attorney, Rudy Giuliani, stands at the center of the impeachment inquiry.

Trump said he takes “thousands of pictures” every year with whoever asks.

Earlier in the day, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi said the new allegations from an indicted associate of Trump lawyer Rudy Giuliani, Lev Parnas, only reinforces the need for the Senate to consider further testimony about the president’s actions toward Ukraine.

Opening arguments in te impeachment trial are to begin next Tuesday after the Martin Luther King Jr. holiday.
