Ph Health Authorities awaiting novel coronavirus test kits as death toll jumps to 17 in China | ANC

The deadly 2019 novel coronavirus continues to spread with the death toll now at 17 and more than 540 people infected in mainland China. In the Philippines, health officials are monitoring the case of a 5-year-old boy from Wuhan, China for an unidentified strain of the coronavirus. The Health Department-- also ramping up measures to detect and prevent the entry of the disease into the country.
