How to be a Rock Star in the Corporate World

How to be a Rock Star in the Corporate World | In this Rutgers Business Insight, G. Christopher Crawford, assistant professor of professional practice, discusses his research on the Emergence of Outliers in Entrepreneurship.

The framework identifies four primary causes of Outlier Outcomes:
1. Endowments
2. Expectations
3. Engagement
4. Environments

These Outcomes can be any that are disproportionately influential/epic/extreme/novel.

The premise is pretty simple: it matters where you start (your Endowments), BUT most of what you accomplish in life will be driven by your Expectations for growth.

Remember: Expectations drive Engagement, and Engagement drives Outcomes. So, keep going; keep engaging!

This video is a 30,000-foot summary of Dr. Crawford’s Rock Star Theory framework. Look for future videos explaining each of the four constructs and how they contribute to achieving Outlier Outcomes
