How to add straps to a joey bag or pouch two different ways sewing tutorial for beginners UPDATE: I was told that they want straps to be 6' long, so cut your strap 75"x 8" long. If it's too long for them, they will till a knot at the top.

UPDATE 2: A viewer had a great suggestion. Reinforce the straps by sewing an X over the straps on the side. Very easy just literally sew and X from one side of the strap to the other or simply sew over it back and forth several times.

This videos shows you how to add a strap to a joey bag or pouch for firefighters or first responders to carry with them and put an injured animal in if they find one. It also works for regular bags and is very easy.
