The First Lady and her husband, Donald Trump appeared at the 2019 Congressional Ball this week. However, whilst the President delivered on his remarks to guests, eagle-eyed viewers noticed something strange about Mrs Trump’s face. In the video, the First Lady can be seen switching between smiling and grimacing. Many viewers thought it was clear that Melania wasn’t listening to her husband’s speech. One Twitter user wrote: “She’s clearly in another world!" Colleen Murphy Day summed up reactions, tweeting: “What’s happening to Melania’s face? Yikes!” The President made sure to thank his wife later in the speech for her event organisation He said: “I want to congratulate Melania. “She did such a beautiful job with the decoration. “We’re very proud of this country, we’re very proud of this home.” Another Twitter user wrote: “Can’t stop looking at Melania’s face” with laughing emojis. Aaron replied to the White House’s tweet of the video with: “Is Melania’s face melting?” One other tweeted: “I wonder what she’s thinking. CNN Correspondent Kate Bennett gives the first behind-the-scenes look at President Trump’s wife.
