'I Will Be Your Leather' An Exclusive Worldwide Premiere on Blues Radio InternationalTV at the 2019

Koko Taylor Blues Music Award Winner Diunna Greenleaf and Derrick Procell, with a worldwide premiere of “I Will Be Your Leather,” written by Terry Abrahamson and Derrick. This will take 8 minutes out of your day--but I promise that those minutes will among the most moving.

The backstory: Last year in Chicago, my good friend Terry took me to Derrick’s studio to hear a song that they had been working on. After playing it for me, we talked about their hope that our good friend Diunna Greenleaf would sing it. Terry and I immediately got on the phone to Diunna— who agreed to drive from Houston to Memphis last May just to sing this song for the first time with us on Blues Radio International at the 2019 Blues Music Awards.
