A heatwave sweeping across the country is also expected to increase the fire risk this coming week.
Numerous properties have already been destroyed on both coasts, with about about 2.5 million acres burnt of farmland and more than 400 homes. At least four people have also been killed.
Western Australian Department of Fire and Emergency Services Superintendent Sven Andersen said about 400 firefighters entered their fifth day fighting a bushfire north of Perth, which has engulfed more than 11,000 hectares of land.
