Prophetizo Brought Salvation
The story of Jesus and the woman at the well is one that demonstrated the importance of having an understanding of prophecy in the church.
The Bible says after Jesus prophesied to this woman about the five husbands she had, the woman was convinced that indeed Jesus was a prophet. Her recognition of who He is went so deep that she could not contain it to herself. She went out to the entire city to inform people of the divine encounter she had just had.
The woman then left her waterpot, went her way into the city, and said to the men, “Come, see a Man who told me all things that I ever did. Could this be the Christ?” Then they went out of the city and came to Him. (John 4:28-30)
One prophecy caused this woman to storm the city and win souls. It is through this prophecy that men and women in their thousands made their way to Jesus!
When we prophesy to you, the aim is to ensure that we get people to make their way to Jesus!
