How to Properly Latch Your Airstream Door | Pete's RV Quick Tips

Airstream Specialist Randal Murray goes over how to make sure that the door on your Airstream is properly shut since it is a unique design in the RV industry.

Randy tells us that the latch in the Airstream door uses a dual latch system, meaning that you can head 2 audible clicks, when slowly shutting and pressing the door into the frame. Make sure to keep your hand in the latch area which will help avoid dents and keep pressure on the latch. Should the latch ever start to feel tough, silicone spray can be used to lube up the lock and latch mechanism.
