Haircut in a classic local barbershop located in a traditional chinese shop house in George Town, Penang Malaysia. Mr. Ling Chew Chin, barber and owner of Huang Koong Barber Shop, is in his 70's and is a second-generation barber. As a child, his family moved from China to Penang, Malaysia. By the age of 13, Mr Ling began barbering then later took over the business from his dad. The barbershop has not changed much since the 1960s, but of course over the decades the neighborhood has changed a lot. If you speak some Hokkien Mr. Ling will fill you in!
