Turning a pointy bit on the vintage Karger lathe (long edit)

Turning a pointy bit on the vintage Karger lathe (long edit) I modify some sort of spindle nose attachment that came with my old wood lathe. And make it in to a fixed drive centre for my vintage Karger lathe. Now I no longer have to true up the pointy bit in the 3 jaw chuck every time I want to turn between centres. I also try out some pressure turning between centres.
