Street Running Industrial Spur Runs Red Light, Rest Of The Story!

Street Running Industrial Spur Runs Red Light, Rest Of The Story! Rare Ohio street running train on Franklin Industrial Spur. Very few videos show this elusive street runner train in Ohio and this is the only video that shows the local switcher at the end of the spur. I show the very end of the line, the small railroad bridge next to the customer switch where they are switching the customer and I show the street running train. Since the first video did so well, I decided to show the rest of the story, as Paul Harvey would say. This section of street running track is supported by only one customer and they are only switched as needed. This is a difficult street runner train to catch and I had quite a few people tell me that they drive down this track all the time and never knew it was still in use. I was documenting the end of the line and showing the rusty rail head when the train just happened to show up. When I first heard it, I thought it was just a train across the river so you can imagine my surprise when I realized how lucky I was that it happened to show up while I was here! For more info on this little Norfolk Southern line, see my other video of it. The customer is R Good Industries Franklin Yards. Filmed September 27, 2019. Thanks for watching!
