For those of you who haven't heard already, the company behind the Mario & Luigi RPG Series has filed for Bankruptcy. Currently there is no word on the future of the series but with AlphaDream making every entry including the remakes, it is likely that the M&L games as we know them are done. There is a chance that the developers could get hired to be part of a new team but again, that is a chance not something that will happen. Of course the series itself could just be dead now if Nintendo doesn't hire another company/continue it themselves.
Personally I really hope the series gets to continue whether that's with the original developers being hired by a new company/Nintendo or a new team picking up the series....hopefully with the ability to recapture the feel of the first four games.
If the series is in fact dead, well it certainly didn't go out with a bang but it will always be remembered by its fans.
