THIS WAS UNSAFE. **DIY Replacing the rear BRAKES on my WIFE'S John Cooper Works Mini** My wife's 2017 John Cooper Works Mini needed new brake pads on the rear brakes. I have already replaced the front pads when it was around 12K miles. The rears went out at about 15K miles. These pads don't seem to last very long, but luckily they are very simple to replace and can be done in less than an hour. You will only need simple hand tools and a jack.
