Sushma Swaraj appeals to people to extend help in finding Geeta's parents One of the best politicians to have taken charge of the external affairs ministry, Swaraj, who had scores of success stories of bringing back stranded citizens from foreign land, had also helped Geeta return to India after she had inadvertently crossed over to Pakistan where she spent 10 years.
Since her return in 2015, she has been living at an Indore-based volunteer organisation meant for especially abled girls. Swaraj had called her ‘India’s daughter’.
External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj appealed to people to extend their help in finding the parents of Geeta, a deaf and mute girl, who had returned to India from Pakistan.

Sushma Swaraj in her appeal also said that whosoever helps in finding the parents of Geeta, he or she will be rewarded with one lakh rupees.

She added that perhaps Geeta belong to either Bihar or Jharkhand.

Swaraj also thanked Edhi Foundation of Pakistan for their support
