Clay cracking or clay popping is a really satisfying asmr trend from Korea. It reminds me of cutting open stress balls or squishies combined with soap curl crushing. You only need paper clay and nail polish, which makes it a lot easier to set-up than DIY slime or squishies. For best results, try to apply as many coats of nail polish as possible and let them dry completely to form a hard shell. The hardest part of this DIY was probably inhaling nail polish for so long whilst applying all those layers. If you're sensitive to smells then it's a good idea to wear a face mask or at least do this near an open window.
