Driver accused of injuring bike rider in road rage incident CINCINNATI (WKRC) - A Mt. Washington man is accused of purposely injuring a bicycle rider during a road rage incident. James Thompson faces a felonious assault charge.

According to court papers, Thompson was upset with the bike rider. As the rider approached his vehicle, Thompson opened the car door at the last minute. The victim couldn't avoid the car door and crashed into it.

The victim suffered serious injuries and had to be taken to the hospital. No word on his condition.

A judge ordered Thompson held on $10,000 bond.
