48 Hour Baby Heart Monitoring! Preston's Alarm Goes Off!! For anyone who didn't already know, the doctors diagnosed baby Preston with a heart arrhythmia when mom was 35 weeks pregnant. He saw a cardiologist this week and they sent him home with a mobile baby heart monitor to get a better reading of what his heart is doing. They wanted to monitor to see if he had any tachycardia which is a rapid heart rate. So because of Preston's heart condition, now at 2 weeks old he has to have his heart monitor on for 48 hours.
