The Seoul Metropolitan Government has decided to lift its ban on disposables, such plastic straws and cups, in coffee shops and restaurants in the South Korean capital.
It's part of efforts to contain the coronavirus outbreak.
Officials say the use of disposable goods will be allowed until the outbreak ends.
The central government has already eased such regulations in airports, train stations and bus terminals.
South Korea has restricted the use of plastic cups and dishes since August 2018.
