Purpose: This study determines the preferred learning styles of the selected Grade 12 students Senior High School Students of Emiliano Tria Tirona Memorial National High School SY 2019-2020.
Design/methodology/approach: This study used a descriptive research design to describe the personal profile of the respondents and their learning styles. The instruments used in gathering data was a questionnaire made of two sets. Part I dealt with the personal profile of the respondents, while Part II dealt with their learning styles. Data gathered were tabulated, collected and interpreted using the weighted mean.
Findings: From the weighted mean of the 100 respondents, the results of the test showed that the most used learning style of the selected Grade 12 students was auditory. The second most used learning style was visual, followed by haptic.
Research limitations/implications: This study was limited to the selected Grade 12 students of Emiliano Tria Tirona Memorial National High School. It focused merely on the learning styles of the respondents, particularly the visual, auditory, and haptic aspects.
Originality/value: With this study, the teachers could use the preference of the students when it comes to learning styles, so teaching and learning experiences inside the classroom could be easily facilitated.
