How do you place TBS Crossfire or FrSky R9 antenna on your radio? Horizontally or vertically? How does that affect the range? What about radiation patterns and how the position of the antenna affects the tune? The radio carrying handle is usually metal - that can affect the antenna tune, resonant frequency, and VSWR. I do have a VSWR meter, so let's check what is really happening. And in the end, let's answer the question: does it even matter?
