Trucks stranded, roads cut as widespread rain prompts flood warnings for Queensland | ABC News Heavy rainfall has cut off a Queensland town to the north and closed the rail line between Townsville and Mount Isa.

It also brought a welcome boost to drought-stricken catchments in the central and north west.

The weather bureau is expecting more wet weather to come.
