In our second part of our three-part series on the medical neglect of elderly patients inside our public hospitals, we bring you the agonizing story of Gail Phillips whose treatment inside Witbank Hospital for a fractured femur was delayed for months. Her condition deteriorated rapidly and she died of stage 4 bedsore wounds.
