By refrencing Gunther Wagner Volume 1&2, C.B Hobley.
These books are about the ancient history of Logoli/Maragoli in the pre-colonial Kisumu/Rusinga Island but now poor community found in Vihiga North Kavirondo(Kakamega).
According to the Oral History of Maragolis, they migrated from Medina and Al-Aksumah(Barter trading city in Saudi Arabia) as a whole group called Avasuva/Abasuba/Abasoba through Egypt(Misri) to Ethiopia, Sudan and Finally made it to Kitara/Kidara/Madara/dala(Meaning Village)in North Eastern Uganda.
When the boundaries of Eastern Uganda/MARA-REGION Tanzania was redrawn/chopped down.
After Britons plan of settling Jews in Maragoli-shrine backfired, Native Maragolis found themselves hanging in the balance, their territories shifted from Buganda/Northern Tanzania to now modern Kenyan territories, loosing most part of their history and cultures.
Major clans like Asweta scattered to as deep as Musoma Tanzania, thereafter Maragoli's became landless or stateless as a result of Loosing Akisumu/Aksuma town to Luos, to this day Maragoli are registered at the UN/UNESCO as a stateless society who never had formal chiefs/Kings/fighter but were led by diviner priests called Oluyia/Oluyah, same Oluyia/Oluyah that the late president Moi used to forge fake Luhya unity and origin.
