Meet our Instructor
Myrtle Pettit, MPH, CCN has adopted a plant-based diet at a young age, learning from her mom’s kitchen. She was moved seeing the suffering of many cancer patients in the wellness center her mother used to work at. Thus, inspired her to pursue her passion for health and wellness, finishing her Masters in Public Health with a concentration in Nutrition at Liberty University, Lynchburg, VA. Furthermore, her drive to combine theory and practice led her to Living Light Culinary Institute, Fort Bragg, CA, to be certified as a Raw Food Chef and Instructor. She also holds a Master Food Preserver from Cornell University.

Her continued pursual in the dynamic field of nutrition brought her to take it a step further to obtain a certification from Clinical Nutrition Certification Board as a Certified Clinical Nutritionist (CCN). For clients that need a more thorough support and assessment, she provides one-on-one nutrition counseling. She also offers nutrition classes which are not only engaging but full of knowledge, practical know-how, wit, and humor. On a more practical side, she also teaches healthy cooking classes to promote a healthier lifestyle. She’s very supportive of her students’ journey to health in every stage.
