How Does Pin-Hole Camera Work | Inverted Image | How to Construct a Pin-Hole Camera- 3D Model- NSO Mayank explains the construction and workings of a pin-hole camera using a 3D Model.

Constructing Pin-Home Camera
Take two boxes one large and another smaller. In larger box put a screen and in the smaller box make a pin hole. Slide the smaller box into the larger box. The sliding mechanism is required so that we can adjust the distance between the pin-hole and screen until we get a sharp image on the screen.

Why does Pin-Hole Camera Produce Inverted Image?
Image you can get inside a pin hole camera and peek through the hole. Then, from the bottom of the camera if you peek through the hole you would see the top of object in front and if you peek from the top of the camera through the hole you would would see bottom of object.
Another way to put it is that the pin hole only allows the light rays from top of object to go to the bottom of the screen and light ray from the bottom can only go to top of the screen. Thus producing an inverted image.
