GCSE Maths Higher Maths | Surface area problems | Cuboid | Prism | GCSE MATHs 2020 This is a GCSE MATHs Higher Maths video related to 3D solids. In this video we will consider a bit more complicated level of problems about Cuboids and Prisms. In the first problem we need to find the height of a cuboid given the area. So, we can do that by completing linear equation for the total area with the height as unknown variable
In the second problem we are to find the surface area of a Prism ( triangular prism ). Here we will hire Pythagoras theorem in order to find unknown side before calculating areas for each face.
Make sure you watched the Foundation level related to Surface area of 3D solids (container, boxes etc.) if these problems seem to you hard.
