Drug Addiction ਇਕ ਅਜਿਹੀ ਆਦਤ ਹੈ ਜੋ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਜਕੜ ਲਵੇ ਤਾਂ ਉਸ ਤੋਂ ਨਿਕਲਣਾ ਬਹੁਤ ਹੀ ਔਖਾ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ । ਇਕ ਅਜਿਹੀ ਆਦਤ ਜੋ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਨਾ ਜਿਉਣ ਜੋਗੇ ਛੱਡਦੀ ਹੈ ਨਾ ਮਰਣ ਜੋਗੇ । ਕੁਝ ਅਜਿਹਾ ਹੀ ਹੋਇਆ ਕਿਰਨਦੀਪ ਨਾਲ ਜੋ ਕਿ ਜਲੰਧਰ ਦੇ ਰਹਿਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਹਨ । ਸਾਲਾਂ ਤਕ ਉਹ ਇਸ ਨਸ਼ੇ ਦਾ ਸ਼ਿਕਾਰ ਰਹੇ, ਉਸ ਨਸ਼ੇ ਵਿਚ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਅਜਿਹੇ ਕੰਮ ਕੀਤੇ ਜਿਸ ਵਾਰੇ ਸੋਚਣਾ ਵੀ ਔਖਾ ਹੈ । ਪਰ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਉਹ ਜ਼ਿੰਦਗੀ ਜੀਣਾ ਮੰਜੂਰ ਨਹੀਂ ਸੀ । ਜਿਸ ਲਈ ਉਹ ਇਕ ਨਵੀ ਜ਼ਿੰਦਗੀ ਦੀ ਉਮੀਦ ਵਿਚ ਰਿਹਾਬ ਵਿਚ ਗਏ ਤੇ ਸਿੱਟੇ ਵਜੋਂ ਉਹ ਅੱਜ ਇਕ ਚੰਗੀ ਤੇ ਨਸ਼ਾ ਮੁਕਤ ਜ਼ਿੰਦਗੀ ਜੀ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ ।
Drug addiction is a kind of disease that affects a person's brain and behavior and leads to an inability to control the use of drugs or medication. When you're addicted, you may continue using the drug despite the harm it causes. As time passes, you need larger doses of the drug to get high and after a moment you start surviving on the drug just to feel good.
Similar is the case with Kirandeep. Kirandeep. who hails from Jalandhar, Punjab had been a victim of Drug Abuse for years. An intake she started for fun now had become an addiction for her. Her addiction was so intense that at a point she wasn't able to survive and was wanting drugs over her life.
But then a time comes, when she no longer wanted to live that painful life, so she decided to change her life and stepped toward Rehab. And after battling drug addiction since she was a teenager, Kirandeep is now recovered and leading a good life.
