Pork as a Tradition (Viewer Discretion is Advised)

Pork as a Tradition (Viewer Discretion is Advised) Indonesia has the largest population of muslims. However, in Bali, pork is a people's favourite. The most traditional dish is the suckling pig, known as babi guling. Over the last years, there has been a rise in restaurants serving pork ribs. This short 3 minute documentary takes a dive behind the scenes of kitchen work, focusing on the farm life of the animals, to the moment they are killed, straight to being put on a plate.

This is a follow up video to "Dining With Prithvi".
While Dining with Prithvi focused largely on the service and hospitality aspect of the culinary world, the aim of this video is to juxtapose fine dining in the UK and farm life in a 3rd world country.

This video was done as a part of an assignment for Photojournalism and Documentary Photography course at the University of Gloucestershire.
