~ will maximize any panel your mouse is over.
Command + Opt + K brings up the keyboard shortcut menu.
Opt + Shift + 0 reset the workspace to the saved layout.

Tips
Title, label, and organize your clips before importing them into Premiere. Adobe Premiere allows you to also import folders that will maintain their organization so don’t worry about re-organizing them again once they’re imported. I’d also recommend label what type of shot your clips is (Wide Shot = WS, Close Up = CU, etc.)
I would also recommend labeling all your elements; nested sequences, adjustment layers, etc. Makes everything so much easier to find later on.
Label things different colors and give the colors a specific meaning so you have a better idea of what the colors mean. You can do this by right clicking, label, select color. You can also create hotkeys for labeling things specific colors by hitting, command, option, and K to bring up the keyboard shortcuts menu and searching label to set a hotkey.
Check out the Premiere workspaces up top or create your own. Check where the panels move to when you switch the workspaces there are so many options on workspaces that can help you edit faster.
Play with the list view, icon view, and freeform view at the bottom of the project panel. This will give you a better idea of what is in your clips without having to pull them into the source monitor.
