Xbox Studios Still Can't Compete With PlayStation's Studios, But The Potential Is There

Xbox Studios Still Can't Compete With PlayStation's Studios, But The Potential Is There With the recent announcement of the Xbox Series X and Hellblade 2, a lot of gamers are feeling excited about Xbox's future. I'm also feeling better about it but at the same time, we can't get ahead of ourselves. I have seen some individuals making it seem as though a single new game announcement now proves that Xbox can fully compete with PlayStation and that they are now on the same level. This is a mistake as it is clear to me that Microsoft still has a long way to go and a lot to prove before this is the case. Even an ex Naughty Dog developer agrees. The good news is that Xbox is showing that they are starting to take the right steps in that direction which is certainly exciting and a really good sign, however, we can't make the mistake of counting our eggs before they hatch. The truth is next gen there will be an intense battle between the PS5 and Xbox Series X, Xbox's studios, and PlayStation studios, and exclusive games. It will be interesting to see what Xbox does.
