No end to Pen down Strike call of JHCBA JHCBA after over a moth of strike has called for 'Hunger Strike'
Call was issued against the Govt order of shifting of Registration process
The other reason was High Court is being shifted from existing spot
Following the same HCBA called for general house meet
During the meet, the further course of action was discussed
Unanimous decisions by over 750 lawyers decided to go for pen down strike
Against the transfer of registration power and shifting of High Court
Considering both as major issues indefinite strike call was issued
For over a month Registration order wasn’t rolled back
A meet was called in where it was decided to intensify the strike
Following which token hunger strike call was issued
Been assured by CJ J-K about no proposal prepare for shifting of Jammu High Court
Honorable CJ dispelled any news about shifting of High Court
36 days have passed there is a response from Govt so far
Regarding the shifting of registration power shifting
People are affected due to our continuous call
Not a single lawyer attends courtroom with his/her will
We’re not barring anyone from entering the courtrooms
People being given fresh dates of hearing only
Trails are affected to a greater extent
Lawyers had registration power since the Maharaja’s time
Everything was going quite normal and in a very planned way
This has now been disrupted by Govt with its recent order
Proper scrutiny of documents was done
The process was very convenient for the general public
Govt rapidly changed everything
Young lawyers are affected to lager extend
Registration used to be the major source of income for them
Will definitely change the mode of hunger strike if our demands aren’t met
If needed will intensify our actions after proper talks with BA body
The order issued should be rolled back at the earliest
There should no delay in giving back the power to the judicial officer
It’s important for the general public as well
The general public was face immense incontinence at different offices
A young lawyer at High court said I haven’t appeared in court since the call came into effect
We’re totally unaware about the dates being issued to our clients
Revenue Deptt has so failed to online any record
Only hardships and miseries can be expected from Revenue Deptt
State Govt has powers to address the issue at the earnest
The not lone provision that is should be given to revenue officials only
