I would like to extend my gratitude to all of the men and women who VOLUNTEER as a FIREFIGHTER in their local communities, especially the ALLENDALE Fire Department in Allendale, New Jersey. (Also the Ridgewood FD & although rivals with Allendale...Waldwick FD as I have friends who volunteer there.) What you ALL do on a daily basis to protect, serve and save lives truly makes you ALL HEROES!!! THANK YOU!!

About a month ago, the L.A. BEAST was contacted by Fire Chief Trip Rubino who is not only an L.A. BEAST fan, but one of the Youngest Fire Chiefs in Bergen County New Jersey... with a challenge request. Chief Rubino requested the BEast come into the station and partake in The C.P.A.T. (Candidate Physical Ability Test) to see if he had what it takes to undergo the physical stress a FIREFIGHTER must go through during a fire rescue but at the same time try and help raise awareness about the mental stress and PTSD First Responders & Firefighters have to deal with on a daily basis. Many Fire Departments are VOLUNTEER which means that young men and women put their lives on the line everyday to try and keep others safe with limited resources....but after spending a few days with the Allendale Fire Department, the L.A. BEAST learned that these Brave men and women FORGE ON because they have a PASSION for what they do. With Volunteer Firefighting numbers WAY DOWN, the L.A. BEAST felt inspired to take on this challenge from Chief Trip Rubino and in the process became inspired to continue to help out the Allendale Fire Department in any way possible moving forward in the future.
