This is an overview of The Expectation and Reality of Being an Expat in Thailand. The expectation of living in Thailand is usually a facade. Many times, expats move to a SEA country, like Thailand, with visions of it being paradise. While it is true that Thailand offers some of the most unique places in the world, actually living here can become very stressful. The current situation with all of the implemented visa rules has caused many expats to leave Thailand. I hope things improve. I believe the Thai government will find a good solution to the problems expats are facing.
