However, if you think that the inside of your organization should reflect the outside world, you’ll need to make changes. Your customers are diverse. Unless you want to exclude certain demographics, you’ll need to change that formula.

Inclusion training is especially important to keep in mind because Generation Z workers are attracted to organizations with diverse employment. Diverse workplaces increase ROI and the overall financial stability of a company. With a diverse staff, education is necessary so that teams know how to work together.

Inclusion is also beneficial because it adds to employee engagement. When you bring in people from diverse backgrounds, you give people on your team a broader perspective. If every person feels like they deserve to be there, it makes them more willing to offer new ideas. This kind of openness is a critical part of fostering innovation.
