Roland Martin broadcast live during his pilgrimage to Ghana to commemorate "The Year of Return." Florida activist Sheena Meade spoke shared with Roland her experiences during her first trip back to the motherland. Meade said, "It just feels good to be home."
Part of the journey to Ghana has been one of reconciliation. One of the faith leaders from God Box Tours told Roland, "Without the reconciliation without the reconnection, there's no point in just coming back to see -- because there's something happening."
She added, "Historically Something happened and we need to reconcile. We need to bring the brothers and sisters back together so that we can begin this process of healing"
