How to Replace a Front Wheel Bearing with ABS GMC Envoy 2002-2009 This video goes over how to replace your front wheel bearing on a 2002 GMC Envoy. This video can be followed and applied for 2002-2009 GMC Envoy's. This procedure would be the same for the left or right front wheel bearing. Torque specs can differ between manufactures for wheel bearings. On this vehicle, I've seen 103 ft lb to177 ft lb, so that is why I use 135 ft lb . You don't want to over tighten, but it's better than it coming loose! Wheel bearings come with either a 1 year or 3 year warranty. If you live in a state without a lot of rust or corrosion this should be a pretty straight forward process. If not, a hammer or a bearing puller/axle puller set would be helpful. These can be bought and then returned at most major auto parts chain store as loaner tools so you are not charged.

Tools needed:

- Wheel bearing (1 year or 3 year warranty)
- Ratchet
- 17,18,19,36 mm socket
- Hammer
- Jack + Jack stand
- Flat head screwdriver
- Torque Wrench
