this Sandisk USB flash drive was sent in from a non-profit organization that helps homeless cats and dogs with new families. As soon as I got the request I really wanted to help them out. At first, it seemed like a super-simple repair job with a blown-out resistor needed to be either replaced or jumped, but turned out to be something that could be a much bigger mess if we did not have a donor. If I had to guess, this inventory has over 95% of Sandisk Cruzer production variations. Over the years Sandisk kept the housing the same, but the printed circuit board design and components had their own "evolution".
