Dirt strips and desert flying - the journey home

Dirt strips and desert flying - the journey home Flying home from Birdsville in the Australian desert, through the Outback, refuelling at a country airstrip, then flying IFR through cloud into Melbourne. The last of my Wrigley Murphy series, see flight stats, cockpit and exterior cameras, air traffic control calls, and experience flight in the cockpit of my Cirrus SR22.

In today's vlog I take-off early to avoid desert turbulence, fly through Queensland, South Australia, and New South Wales to Swan Hill in Victoria. Then from Swan Hill I fly IFR through the low clouds in Melbourne into Moorabbin Airport to end my 'Recreating Wrigley Murphy' trip. I'm flying VH-EYZ a Cirrus SR22 general aviation aircraft.
