When she became pregnant in college, Chrystal Evans Hurst’s boyfriend abandoned her, shattering her childhood dreams of a perfect, nuclear family. As she took on the responsibilities of single parenthood and adult life, she was discontent and frustrated that life didn’t turn out how she thought it would. By becoming aware of some compromising life decisions and working to be deliberate about following Jesus, Chrystal found peace about her past and rediscovered the joyful, playful approach to life she had as a little girl.
In this Best of 2019 broadcast, based on her book She's Still There, Chrystal helps moms and wives deal with unfulfilled dreams and rekindle their childhood aspirations by obeying God and making the most of everyday life.
