Banana artwork worth US$ 120,000 eaten by an American Artist

1억짜리 바나나 예술작품 꿀꺽…행위예술가 "배고파 먹었다"

At the Art Basel show in Miami Beach,... an artist chomped down a single banana taped to a wall, which was actually an artwork worth tens of thousands of dollars.
Artist David Datuna posted on his Instagram a video of him taking the banana off the wall and eating it in front of onlookers,... saying he did it because he felt "hungry."
The art piece titled 'Comedian' was a work by Italian artist Maurizio Cattelan,... which was sold to a French collector last week for some 120-thousand U.S. dollars.
The gallery, however, plans no legal action against Datuna, saying the banana was only "the idea" so he did not destroy the artwork.
The Miami Herald said the value of the artwork lies in the certificate of authenticity.
