Always check your metal detecting finds, they might be TREASURE

Did I find GOLD? I dismissed it as a button but when I got home, after washing the find it looked like a very damaged gold coin, it remained a gold colour, it was a 57 signal and its heavy? I'm going to take it to a jewelers to have it tested for gold content next week!
Just goes to show that you should never dismiss anything as you might have found something thats treasure!
